5 out of 5 stars Brilliant   November 23, 2008
As a newbie, I was totally doing my head in on where to get started.
It has taken me step by step, given me so much more thinking outside the box ideas, I can honestly say I can't wait to get started, and now I can say sooner than later.

Thank you

4 out of 5 stars Short but Helpful   August 13, 2008

As other reviewers have noted, there is a lot of white space in this book, and the chapters are short. But who cares?

The ideas are good. If you are an "absolute beginner" at creating income on-line, this book will be helpful. In a simple, readable manner, it tells you how to start making money on the internet with minimal effort.

I, for one, am glad the author didn't pad the book with unnecessary anecdotes and exposition. Was he trying to make a quick buck with this book? Probably. But in doing so he provided some valuable information to readers.

1 out of 5 stars Save your money!   April 29, 2008

Someone else used the term "pump-and-dump" to describe this thing and I agree. Don't get me wrong, I like Pat O'Bryan's writing and I visit his blog. One look at his picture and it is easy to believe this guy's "I was a broke-down guitar player and look at me now" story.

I think he dictated this "book" into his recorder while he was driving to Joe Vitale's house one day. Lots of the "chapters" are about half a page.

AND, most importantly, everything he suggests for creating "internet wealth" has BEEN DONE!

In spades.....

One example: Public domain? Hundreds of sites are GIVING the stuff away, much less selling it.

This book and its ilk remind me of the stories about the Klondike Gold Rush, where the true riches were achieved by the people selling all the gear - tents, axes, shovels, ropes, etc. - to the intrepid miners on their way to "riches." Most of whom either died or came back penniless, maimed, or worse. At least on the internet, no one is dying. (I don't think....) But for the rest of us, we will have to keep our day jobs for now at least.

1 out of 5 stars Save your money - Reminds me of high school   October 29, 2007

Do you remember the days in high school when you would try and leave as much white space as possible (filler) on an assignment paper to make it look like you wrote more than you did. This is an example of that. I actually think there is more 'white space' in the book then text. Have to wonder about the publisher as well as the author when you get this kind of publication released. Doesn't say a lot for either. Save your money and 'google it' - you will probably get more information in 20 minutes (maybe 10) than you will by reading this whole book.

4 out of 5 stars Very helpful!   September 11, 2007

Compared to other books I've read under this same topic, Pat's book is extremely helpful! I liked that he was very specific assuming that you know nothing! He broke down the subject into simple easy to read chapters. His thought provoking questions at the end of each chapter along with his detailed examples of what you could do, really helped me to get out of my rigid and locked mindset and to get into the flow of my own creative juices. Halfway through the book, I had to get a notebook because the ideas just started coming to me! I would have spent months and possibly big $$$ trying to learn the information that was handed me in a nice little package. As far as dropping his friends website addresses and his own, I love that..it gives me more examples to study of what this business is all about!
